Grading curve of hollow spheres composites

Wednesday (24.10.2018)

The Research into the use of hollow sphere composites in manufacturing technology showed an interesting field of application. The use of hollow sphere composites leads to a reduction in weight and this saves costs. Another important factor is the natural frequencies and damping. This paper compares different types of a grading curve for hollow sphere composites. The hollow spheres, which consist of one type, are compared with a grading curve of mixed types. This is expected to increase damping and frequency.
